anypointinthebackbone.
Largesystems
Ifthebackbonelengthisgreaterthan60m(197ft),thepowerconnectionpointshouldbeconnected
atapointthatcreatesabalancedcurrentdrawfromeachsideofthebackbone.TheLoad
EquivalencyNumber(LEN)isusedtodeterminethepowerconnectionpointforthesystem.
Inthee xampleabovethesystemhasanoverallLENof10,sotheoptimumconnectionpointwould
betohave5LENeithersideoftheconnectionpoint.
