positivewireofthepowercable.
Theunitdoesnothaveapowerswitch.Theunitispoweredwhen
thepowercableisattachedtothevessel’spowersupply.
Note:Theunitshouldbemountedsothatthepowercablecan
beeasilyremovedifnecessary.Iftheunitisplacedinadifcultto
reachlocation,Raymarinerecommendsinstallinganon/offswitch
onthepowerconnectionatapointthatiseasilyaccessible.
Powercableextensions
Thepowercableshouldberunasasinglelengthofcablefrom
theunittothevessel’sbattery/distributionpanel.Ifthelengthof
thepowercablesuppliedisinsufcientthenpleaserefertothe
followingtabletoensurethatthecorrectgaugeofcableisused
foranyrequiredextensiontothepowercable.Inadequatepower
cablesizescancauseissueswhichmaynotoccuruntilusedin
deeperwater.
