Thecharthasanumberofpresentationoptionswhichaffectthe
levelofdetail,typesofobjectsandaspectsofitsoperation.
Thepresentationoptionsavailableare:
•Sync—Synchronizetheradarandchartscales.
•Chartdetail—Setthelevelofobjectdetailshownonthechart.
•Charttype—Selectshingcharts(ifsupportedbyyourchosen
chartsupplier).
•View—T oggle2Dand3Dperspectiveview.
Accessingchartpresentationoptions
Inthechartapplication:
1.SelectthePRESENTATIONsoftkey.
2.Usethesoftkeytoolbartosettherequiredoptions.
Multiplechartsynchronization
Youcansynchronizetheheading,range,andpositioninformation
acrossmultiplechartviewsandnetworkeddisplays(SeaT alk
hs
).
Whenchartsynchronizationisenabled:
•Itisindicatedby“ChartSync”inthechartapplicationstatusbar.
•Somesoftkeyfunctionsarenotavailablewiththisfeature,and
are“grayed-out”.
•Anychangesmadetotheheading,rangeorpositioninanychart
instancewillbereectedinallotherchartinstances.
Note:Whenthe2Dand3Dchartviewsaresynchronized,the
MotionModeisalwaysRelativeMotion.
Synchronizingmultiplechartinstances
Inthechartapplication:
1.SelectthePRESENTATIONsoftkey.
2.UsetheSYNCsoftkeytoselecttheCHRToption.
3.Ifyouhavenetworkeddisplays,repeatStep2inthechart
applicationoneachdisplaythatyouwanttosynchronize.
Fishmode
Fishmodeprovidesbathymetriccontourdataonthechartforuse
duringshing.
Beforeyoucandisplaybathymetricdatainthechartapplication,you
musthavechartcardswiththerelevantlevelofdetail.
WhenyouchangetheCHARTTYPEtotheFISHoption,bathymetric
dataisshownonthechart(whereavailable,dependantuponhaving
asuitablechartcard).
EnablingFishmode
Inthechartapplication:
1.SelectthePRESENTATIONsoftkey.
2.SelecttheCHARTTYPEsoftkey.
3.UsetheCHARTUSEsoftkeytoselecttheFISHoption.
Note:TheCHARTUSEsoftkeyisdisabledifyourcartography
doesNOTsupportthefeature.
