•GotoCursor—Willsetthecursorpositionastheactive
destination.
•GotoWaypoint—Providesoptionstonavigatetoawaypoint
storedonthesystem
•FollowRoute—Providesoptionstonavigatetoaroutestored
onthesystem
•CreateTrack—Willinitiateatrackonscreentoplotyourcourse
asyouprogress.
•BuildRoute—Providesoptionstobuildaroute.

Youcanusethedatabarandcontextmenuinformationyoucanuse
themeasurefunctiontomeasuredistancesinthechartapplication.
Youcandeterminethedistanceandbearing:
•fromyourvesseltothepositionofthecursor;
•betweentwopointsonthechart.
Measuringfromvesselpositiontocursor
Fromthechartapplication:
1.Selectthelocationonscreenthatyouwanttomeasurethe
distanceorbearingfromyourvessel.
Thechartcontextmenuwillbedisplayed.
2.SelectMeasure.
Thefollowingwillhappen:
•Themeasuremenuwillbedisplayed.
•Alinewillbedrawnfromthecursorpositiontothecenterof
thescreen.
•Thecursorlocationwillbemovedatthecenterofthescreen.
•Thebearinganddistancewillbedisplayednexttothenew
cursorlocation.
3.FromthemeasuremenuselectMeasureFromsothatShip
isselected.
Therulerlineisre-drawnfromthecursorpositiontoyourvessel.
4.Youcannowadjusttherulerpositionbymovingthecursorto
thedesiredlocation.
5.Ifyouwanttherulerdisplayedafteryouhaveclosedthemeasure
menu,selectDisplayRulersothatOnishighlighted.
SelectingdisplayrulerwillswitchtherulerOnandOff.
6.Ifyouwanttoadjusttherangeofthechartapplicationwhilst
inthemeasurementmenuselectAdjustRangeandusethe
RangeControltozoominorout.
Measuringfrompointtopoint
Fromthechartapplication:
1.Selectthelocationonscreenthatyouwanttomeasurethe
distanceorbearingfromyourvessel.
Thechartcontextmenuwillbedisplayed.
2.SelectMeasure.
Thefollowingwillhappen:
•Themeasuremenuwillbedisplayed.
•Alinewillbedrawnfromthecursorpositiontothecenterof
thescreen.
•Thecursorlocationwillbemovedatthecenterofthescreen.
•Thebearinganddistancewillbedisplayednexttothenew
cursorlocation.
3.SelectMeasureFromsothatCursorisselected.
SelectingmeasurefromwillswitchbetweenShipandCursor.
4.Youcannowadjusttheendpointbymovingthecursortothe
desiredlocation.
5.YoucanalsoSwapDirectionoftherulersothatthebearing
becomesthebearingfromendpointtostartpoint.
6.Ifyouwanttherulerdisplayedafteryouhaveclosedthemeasure
menu,selectDisplayRulersothatOnishighlighted.
SelectingdisplayrulerwillswitchtherulerOnandOff.
7.Ifyouwanttoadjusttherangeofthechartapplicationwhilst
inthemeasurementmenuselectAdjustRangeandusethe
RangeControltozoominorout.
