  If the Raymarine Monitor touchscreen isn't working correctly, first ensure that the touch lock is disabled using the trackpad on the home screen. The screen requires direct contact with bare fingers to operate correctly, so remove any gloves. If problems persist, calibrate the touchscreen using the setup menus. Also, saltwater deposits on the screen can cause issues, so carefully clean and dry the screen as instructed.

  If you have no media player control on your Raymarine Marine Equipment, check the Bluetooth compatibility with the device manufacturer to ensure the media player device is compatible with Bluetooth 2.1+ EDR power class 1.5 (supported profile: AVRCP 1.0) or higher. If the device is not compatible, it is not suitable for wireless use with the multifunction display. Enable “Audio Control” ( Homescreen: > Set-Up > System Settings > Connections > Connections Manager > Audio Control > On).

Also, verify the transducer angle, adjusting if it's too great. If the transducer has a kick-up mechanism, ensure it hasn't kicked up. Check the power supply voltage under load, and inspect the transducer for damage or fouling.

  If your Raymarine app runs slowly or not at all, the device may not be compatible with the Raymarine app. For iOS devices, best performance is achieved on iPhone 4 or later and iPad 2 or later. For Android/Kindle Fire, best performance is achieved with a 1GHz processor or better running 2.2.2 or later. Also, ensure your MFD contains software version 3.15 or later, as the MFD software may be incompatible with the mobile application.
