2.Checktheselectedlocationfortheunit,aclear,
atareaisrequired,whichissafetohavescrews
ttedto.
3.Positiontheconverteragainsttheselected
locationandmarkthesurfacethroughthe
converter’smountingholes.
4.Usinganappropriatesizedrillbit,drill2holesat
themarkedlocations.
5.Positiontheconvertersothatthemountingholes
oftheunitlineupwiththedrilledholesinthe
mountingsurface.
6.Usingthexingsprovidedsecuretheconverter
tothemountingsurface.DoNOTovertighten
thexings.
7.ConnecttheSeaTalk
ng
spurcableandthe
DeviceNetadaptorcabletotheunit.
8.EnsuretheCANbusconnectoroftheDeviceNet
adaptorcableispluggedintotherelevantpoint
ontheengine’sCANbus.
9.Switchthevessel’spowersupplybackonand
checksystem.
