Beforemountingtheunitensurethatyouhave:
•Identiedtheroutesthatthecableswilltake.

1.Switchoffthevessel’spowersupply.
2.Checktheselectedlocationfortheunit,aclear,atareais
required,whichissafetohavescrewsttedto.
3.Positiontheconverteragainsttheselectedlocationandmark
thesurfacethroughtheconverter’smountingholes.
4.Usinganappropriatesizedrillbit,drill2holesatthemarked
locations.
5.Positiontheconvertersothatthemountingholesoftheunit
lineupwiththedrilledholesinthemountingsurface.
6.Usingthexingsprovidedsecuretheconvertertothe
mountingsurface.DoNOTovertightenthexings.
7.ConnecttheSeaTalk
ng
spurcableandtheDeviceNetadaptor
cabletotheunit.
8.EnsuretheCANbusconnectoroftheDeviceNetadaptor
cableispluggedintotherelevantpointontheengine’sCAN
bus.
9.Switchthevessel’spowersupplybackonandchecksystem.
