v.aroundthestemoftheanti-rotationbolt,closetotheheadofthebolt.
16.Inserttheanti-rotationboltintotheanti-rotationholeinthebottomhalfofthefairingblock.
17.Pushthefairingblockdownontothetransducerensuringthattheanti-rotationlocatorisaligned
withtheanti-rotationboltlocatoronthetopfaceofthetransducer.
18.Wipeoffanyexcesssealantprotrudingfromtheedgeofthetransducer/fairingblock.
19.Wipethetopfaceofthebottomhalfofthefairingblockandthemountinglocationonthehull
withanappropriatecleaningagent(forexample:isopropylalcohol),andensurethesurfaces
aredry,cleanandfreefromdebris.
20.Applyacontinuous,thickbeadofmarine-gradesealantallaroundtheperimeterandacrossthe
topofthetopfaceofthebottomhalfofthefairingblock,whereitwillmeetthehull.
21.Applyathickbeadofmarine-gradesealantallaroundtheedgesoftheholesinthehull.
22.Guidethetransducercableupthroughthestemholeinthehull.
23.Guidethetransducerstemandanti-rotationboltupthroughtheholesinthehullandsupportthe
transducerfrombeneath.
24.Frominsidethehull,guidethetransducercablethroughthestemholeinthetophalfofthe
fairingblock.
25.Wipethebottomfaceofthetophalfofthefairingblockandaroundthemountinglocationonthe
insidesurfaceofthehullwithanappropriatecleaningagent(fore xample:isopropylalcohol),
andensurethesurfacesaredry,cleanandfreefromdebris.
26.Applyathickbeadofmarine-gradesealant:
i.inacontinuousbeadallaroundtheperimeterofthebottomfaceofthetophalfofthefairing
block
ii.alloverthebottomfaceofthetophalfofthefairingblock.
iii.aroundthestemholeandanti-rotationholesinthehull.
27.Placethetophalfofthefairingblockovertheanti-rotationboltandtransducerstem.
28.Pushthetophalfofthefairingblockdownagainstthehull.
