5.2Mounting
Pre-mountingcheck
Theproductisdesignedtobesurfacemounted.Beforemounting
theunit,ensureyouhave:
•Selectedasuitablelocation.
•Identiedthecableconnectionsandroutethatthecableswilltake.
•Detachedthefrontbezel.
•Removethekeypadmat.

Mountinginstructions
1.Checktheselectedlocationfortheunit,aclear,atareawith
suitableclearancebehindthepanelisrequired.
2.Fixthemountingtemplatesuppliedwiththeproduct,tothe
selectedlocation,usingmaskingorselfadhesivetape.
3.Ifpossibleuseanappropriatesizeholecuttingsawandcut
outthecentreholecutoutareaasindicatedonthemounting
template,or
4.Usingasuitableholecuttingsaw,makepilotholesineach
cornerofthecutoutareaandusingajigsawcutalongtheinside
edgeofthecutoutline.
5.Ensurethattheunittsintotheremovedareaandthenle
aroundthecutedgeuntilsmooth.
6.Drillanyrequiredholesasindicatedonthemountingtemplate
forthesecuringscrews.
7.Connecttherelevantcablestotheunit.
8.Peelthebackingoffofthesuppliedgasketandplacethe
adhesivesideofthegasketontothedisplayunitandpressrmly
ontotheange.
9.Slidetheunitintoplaceandsecureusingthescrewsprovided.
10.Retkeypadmatandfrontbezel.
Note:Drill,tapsizeandtighteningtorquesaredependantupon
thematerialtypeandthicknessofthemountingsurface.
Note:Thesuppliedgasketprovidesasealbetweentheunitand
asuitablyatandstiffmountingsurfaceorbinnacle.Thegasket
shouldbeusedinallinstallations.Itmayalsobenecessaryto
useamarine-gradesealantifthemountingsurfaceorbinnacleis
notentirelyatandstifforhasaroughsurfacenish.
