Powersteerhas2options:
•Proportional
—Therudderwillbehaveinproportiontothemovementof
therotarycontrolorjoystick.
•BangBang(Joystickonly)
—Therudderwillmove,andstayinthedirectionthejoystick
ismoved.
Engagingpowersteermode
ToengagePowersteermode:
1.GototheModemenufoundinMainmenu>Mode.
2.HighlightPowersteerandpressSELECT.
Youcanchangethetypeofsteeringatanytimei.e.Proportional
orBangBangbygoingtothePowersteersettingsintheDrive
settingsmenu:Mainmenu>Setup>Autopilotcalibration
>Drivesettings>Powersteer.
Note:InordertouseBangBangmodeaconnectedjoystick
isrequired,thep70rrotarywillonlyperforminProportional
mode.
9.8Jogsteer(tillerpilotsonly)
IfyouhaveatillerdriveinstalledonaSeaT alknetwork,your
vesselyoucanusethepilotcontrollertooperatetheraminJog
steermode.
Jogsteermodeenablesyoutousethepilotcontrollers–1,+1,
–10,+10buttons,ortheROTARYcontrollertomovetheramin
andouttoaidconnectinganddisconnectingtheram.
Note:JogSteercanonlybeusedwhilstyourvesselisin
STANDBY.
Usingjogsteer(tillerdrivesonly)
1.EnsureyourvesselpilotisinSTANDBYmode.
2.Usethe–1and–10buttons,orturntherotarycontroller
anticlockwisetoretracttheram.
3.Usethe+1and+10buttons,orturntherotarycontroller
clockwisetoextendtheram.
