Thesetransducersarecapableofproducing3DsonarimageswhenconnectedtoaRealVision™
3DvariantMFDrunningLightHouse™3software,oraLightHouse™3compatibleMFDusedin
conjunctionwithanRVX1000RealVision™3Dsonarmodule.Fivetransducersareavailableinthe
RV-3xxseries,eachhavingthesameexternalshapeanddimensions.
Important:
•Plasticthru-hulltransducersarerecommendedforfiberglassandmetalhullsandshouldnotbe
usedonvesselswithawoodenhull.
Thetransducersdifferinternally ,andcontaindifferentnumbersandtypesoftransmitandreceive
elements.YourinstallationshouldcompriseeitherasingleRV-300transducer,orasplit-pairof
RV-312(P/S)orRV-320(P/S)transducers.
Thehullgeometryofyourvesseldeterminesthemostappropriatetransducerstouse.Youshould
fittransducerswhoseinternalelementsarematchedtowithin±6°ofyourhull’sdeadriseangle,as
showninthefollowingtable:
