ThisprocedureappliestoalltransducersintheRV-3xxseries.
Important:
•Onlyperformtheinstallationwithyourvesseloutofthewater
.
•DoNOTliftorsuspendthetransducerusingitscable.
•Ensurethatthetransducerbodyissupportedduringinstallation.
•DoNOTremovethelabelattachedtothetransducercable;asithelpstoensurecorrect
connection.
•DoNOTovertightenthehullnutoranti-rotationbolt.Overtighteningcancausedamagetothe
hullwhichmayresultinwaterleakingintothevessel.
Spacertopface
1.Checkthelabelsonthetopofthetransducertoconfirmthatyouareusingthecorrecttypeof
transducer(port/starboard,0°,12°or20°tiltedelement)foryourchosenmountinglocation.
2.Usingself-adhesivetape ,attachethesuppliedmountingtemplatetoyourchosenmounting
location,.Ensurethatthe‘Bow’arrowonthetemplateispointedtowardsthevessel’sbow
andthatthetemplateisflatandnotcreased.
3.Marktheholecenters,forthetransducerstemandanti-rotationbolt,onthehullandthenremove
themountingtemplate.
4.Drillapilotholeforthetransducerstemhole.

inch)holeforthetransducerstem,usingaholecutter.
6.Usingahalfroundfileand/orsandpaper,ensuretherearenoroughedgesorburrsaround
thetransducerstemhole.
7.Guidethetransducercableandthenthetransducerstemupthroughthetransducerstemhole
andsupportfrombeneath.
8.Ensurethattheanti-rotationboltholeislinedupwiththemarkyoumadeonthehull.
