NMEA T he NMEA (National Maritim e Electronics Associatio n) protocol is an interna
tiona lly accepted serial communication interface standard for sharing data
between electronic equipment . Raymarine products can share information
with n onSeaT alk equ ipment u sing the N MEA 018 3 pro tocol.
respon se The aut opilot respo nse level control s the relationship between cou rse keeping
accuracy an d the am ount of helm/ drive activ ity .
rudder gain Rudder gain is a measu re of how much helm t he autopilot will ap ply to correct
cours e errors . The higher the s etting the mo re rudd er will be applied.
SeaT alk SeaT alk is Raym arine’ s pro prietary communicatio n sys tem. It links the p rod
ucts to pr ovide a single , integrat ed s ystem s haring power and data.

WindT rim WindT rim (wind respo nse) controls how quickly the autopilot responds to
changes in the wind direction. Higher wind trim sett ings will result in a pilot
