MULTIDEC pump
MATTRESS
Built of 16 transverse cells made of polyurethane. The three cells in the head section are constantly filled
with air. The mattress can be placed on top of a hospital mattress or directly on the bed frame if a layer of
foam is inserted into its bottom pocket (not included). Made of 16 transverse cells made of polyurethane.
Three cells in the head section are continuously filled with air. Equipped with a bottom pocket in which a
foam layer can optionally be placed, thus obtaining a mattress that can be placed directly on the bed frame
(replacement)
. If the mattress is not fitted with a foam layer (overlay), it must be placed on a bed fitted with
a foam mattress.
TOP COVER
Made of knitted fabric covered with polyurethane. It permits water vapour through and holds liquids on the
surface. Attached to the mattress with zippers. The cover can be cleaned, washed, disinfected (details on
page 21).
AIR TUBESET
A set of three air tubes with a connector to connect a mattress with a pump. The stopper attached to the
connector is used to close the air tubeset and prevents the mattress replacement from the air deflation in
the event that the patient needs to be transported on the mattress.
9. CLINICAL APPLICATION
INDICATIONS FOR USE
MULTIDEC anti-bedsore mattress is designed to prevent and / or support the treatment of pressure ulcers of
all degrees. Patients with pressure ulcers should be monitored and repositioned. Treatment of pressure ulcers
should be supported by other accompanying activities (e.g. nutrition support, skin care, etc.), the choice of
