1. IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
Before connecting the pump to the power source and starting the mattress it is necessary
to read carefully all installation and use information contained in this document.
This instruction for use is an introduction to the use of the Multidec anti-decubitus pressure alternating
mattress. It must be read and fully understood before using the mattress. The instructions are intended for
the initial installation of the mattress. Keep it and, if necessary, use it during daily use and maintenance of the
mattress. These Instructions should be used during installation, when introducing the initial settings of the
device and used as an aid in daily operation and maintenance.
In case of problems with the installation, configuration or operation of the system, please contact PPH "Real"
The equipment has been designed in accordance with safety standards, including:
IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2, IEC 60601-1-11.
2. NOTES, CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS
NOTE- tips and advices for users.
CAUTION - an indication of proper operating and maintenance procedures to avoid damage or
destruction of equipment or other damage.
WARNINGS - to pay attention to potential hazards that require appropriate procedures and
practices to prevent personal injury.
• Patient should not operate the system.
• The pump should be disconnected from the power source after use.
• No interference or modifications are allowed. The pump housing may only be removed by
authorized service staff. The pump contains no user-serviceable parts. Do not disassemble the
pump.
• Do not allow the pump to come into contact with the liquid and do not immerse the device in water.
If the product is submerged in water, do not remove the product, immediately remove the plug from
the power socket.
• Do not use while bathing.
• Do not place or store the device where it may fall or submerge / get wet.
