17. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
The mattress cannot be
combined with the pump
1. Check that the air hose connector is not closed with the transport
stopper
2. Contact your distributor to determine if the mattress model matches
the pump you have
No indication on the pump
1. Check if the pump is connected to a power source
2. Check that the pump has been switched on by the side switch
3. Check to see if the fuse has blown.
The power failure alarm did not
work
If in the event of a power failure the power failure alarm does not sound,
please contact the service
The low pressure alarm LED
lights steadily and a beep sounds
1. If the power supply is correct and the pump cannot be heard,
disconnect the air tubeset from the pump and check if air is
coming out of the pump outlet. If not, turn off the pump and call
for service.
2. Check if the CPR valve is closed (CLOSE position)
3. Check that the air tube is properly connected to the pump.
4. Check that all the cells of the mattress are properly connected to
the air tubeset and that none are damaged (punctured, cut etc.)
5. In the event of an inspection of all of the above points press the
alarm mute button. If the pressure is still too low, the alarm will
sound again. Please contact service in this case.
The mattress does not work in
pressure mode, although the
pump is turned on
1. Make sure the initial inflation is complete
2. Check that the pressure mode LED is lit on the pump
control panel. If not, turn on by pressing .
3. Check whether the audio-visual service alarm has been
activated. If so, contact the service.
The service alarm has been
triggered
1. Press the alarm mute button . If the cause of the alarm has not
disappeared, the alarm will restart. Contact service.
The patient collapses on the
mattress by touching the ground
(no alarm)
The selected pressure level may not be appropriate for the patient.
Increase the pressure inside the mattress by pressing the "+" button
The pump is working loudly
1. Make sure the pump is located on the flat surface
2. If the noise is getting louder, contact your service
Contact the service if the above tips do not solve the problem.
