7. PRODUCT INTENDED USE
MULTIDEC is designed to prevent and / or support the treatment of pressure ulcers of all degrees.
Maximum patient weight is 200kg. The clinical indications and contraindications of MULTIDEC® are described
on page 10.
8. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The complete system includes: pump, mattress and cover. The pump can operate in pressure
alternating, static or CLP (constant low pressure) mode. The system has the Easy Turn Technology function,
i.e. lateral tilts and continuous patient rotation (one- or two-sided) manually activated. The intelligent alarm
system distinguishes normal mattress operation from alarm conditions. The mattress is made of transverse
removable cells. All functions and features of the MULTIDEC are described in further part of the instruction
for use.
