The headrest lift sensor is not washable. It can only be cleaned according to the instructions above. Make
sure it is completely dry before connecting it to the pump again.
The cover should be hung and left to dry in a clean room. The cover must be completely dried before putting
it back on the mattress.
The cover can be dried in tumble driers set to a low heat level for 90 minutes, The drying temperature may
not exceed 40⁰C. Higher temperatures can permanently damage the cover.
14. STORAGE
1. Disconnect the system from the power source.
2. Deflate the mattress by opening the CPR and disconnecting the air tubeset from the pump.
3. Lay the mattress on a flat surface
4. Fold and roll up starting from the end on the side of the head
5. Protect against unwinding with stripes sewn on the bottom of the mattress
6. Disconnect the electric cable from the pump, roll it up and fasten it using the Velcro strap provided.
7. The system should be stored and transported in a packaging that protects against moisture, dust and
mechanical damage.
15. ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND TECHNICAL INSPECTIONS
1. GENERAL
• Check the electric cable and plug for wear and damage.
• Remove the cover and check the condition of the mattress and the cover for wear and
damage. Check the condition of all cells connections with the air tubeset and the
underside of the mattress for excessive wear or damage.
• If the pump has been dropped, primed, etc., have the system serviced for inspection.
2. FUSE REPLACEMENT
If the fuse needs to be replaced:
• disconnect the pump from the power source
• using a small screwdriver, remove the fuse cover
• remove the used fuse and replace with a new one with
the correct parameters (see the details in section
Technical Data on page 26)
