The caregiver is responsible for the safe use of the mattress by the patient.
If the patient is not under constant care, the side rails of bed should be used to protect the patient
from falling out of bed.
Easy Turn Technology and Advanced Turn Technology (if applied) must be used only on the beds
equipped with side rails. The side rails must be obligatory raised.
Make sure there are no gaps between the mattress, bed frame and the side rails where the patient's
head or other body part could get stuck.
Three cells in the head section of mattress are constantly inflated. Check regularly patient’s head for
the pressure ulcers.
Check for gaps that could result in serious injury or death due to compression or movement of the
mattress.
Children and disable people using the device or staying close to the device should be under the
supervision of caregivers.
Use the products only for the intended purpose described in this manual. Do not connect to
components not recommended by the manufacturer (e.g. mattress, pump, cover from another
manufacturer)
Do not modify the device without the permission of manufacturer.
The device incorporates electronic programmable systems. Do not attempt to access the systems
without authorization.
The system requires a mattress to be connected to the pump. Do not turn off the pump or remove
the plug from the power socket during operation.
Always connect the pump to the power source specified on the pump label. Do not use a
replacement electrical cord.
The power socket and power plug must always be easily accessible to be completely disconnected
from the power supply if necessary.
Keep the power cord away from hot / heated surfaces.
Do not leave the device unattended when it is connected to a power source.
In the event of a power failure, the pump operation will be stopped and audio-visual power failure
alarm will sound. If power is supplied, the pump will resume operation. The alarm lasts up to 20
minutes.
Incorrect installation and use of the electrical device can be dangerous.
The device is not intended for use in the presence of a mixture of flammable anesthetic gases with
air, oxygen or nitrous oxide.
Do not use the system, especially the mattress, near open flames e.g. when smoking cigarettes,
candles, etc. In the event of a fire, the flow of air from the mattress may lead to the spread of fire.
The device (especially the mattress) should be kept away from the sharp objects
Do not place the heating blanket neither on nor under the mattress
Do not place or drop any heavy objects on the pump.
Do not use the device if the plug or power cord is damaged. Do not use the product if it is not
working properly, has been damaged, dropped, fallen or has become wet. Return the product for
service and/or repair.
During operation the pump releases a small amount of heat. Avoid the direct continuous contact
with the pump surface lasting more than minute.
