9. Using the transmitter
The numbers used in these instructions refer to the illustration alongside the text or the illustrations within
the respective section. For this reason, the same number can represent different locations and different
controlsindifferentgures.Cross-referencestootherguresaregiveninthetextwiththecorresponding
gurenumber.
Theguresoftheremotecontrolandthemodelintheseoperatinginstructionsareforillustrativepurposes
only. The label, design and colour scheme of the products supplied in series may differ completely from the
guresintheseoperatinginstructions.
a) Inserting the batteries
The transmitter is supplied by 4 AA/Mignon batteries (not included).
Important:
Use only batteries (1.5 V/cell) and do not use rechargeable batteries (1.2 V/cell) as the power supply for
the transmitter.
Proceed as follows to insert the batteries:
Press the grooved surfaces of the battery compartment
cover (1) with both thumbs and slide the cover downwards.
Insert4AA/Mignonbatteriesaccordingtospecicationson
the bottom of the battery compartment (2), observing the
correct polarity. The spiral spring contact (3) must always
be connected to the negative pole of the battery.
Then replace the battery compartment cover and push it
upwards until it clicks into place.
