b) Switching on the transmitter
Check the correct power supply of the transmitter by putting it into brief operation for test purposes.
To do this, slide the on/off switch (see also Figure 1, no. 2)
fromthelowerposition(“OFF”=switchedoff)totheupper
position(“ON”=switchedon).
The transmitter emits a beep and the LED indicator (see
alsoFigure1,no.11)startstoashslowly.
Now move the joystick for the pitch and tail function (see
also Figure 1, no. 9) to the uppermost position. The trans-
mitter emits another beep and the LED indicator now
ashesquickly.
Then move the joystick for the pitch and tail function to the
lowest position. The transmitter emits a long beep and the
LED indicator glows steadily.
Then move the joystick back to the middle position.
To switch the transmitter off again, slide the on/off switch back to the lower switch position.
Ifthepowersupplyfortheproperoperationofthetransmitterisnolongersufcient,theredLEDindicator
(seeFigure3,no.11)startstoashslowly.Thetransmitteralsoemitsregularshortbeeps.
In this case, immediately terminate operation of the helicopter and insert a set of new batteries into the
transmitter.
