d) Inserting the helicopter battery into the helicopter
Since the model helicopter has no switch, it is immediately supplied with power when the battery is inserted and can
be digitally linked to the transmitter. For this purpose, the model helicopter and the remote control transmitter must be
in close proximity to each other. The model responds to the control commands from the transmitter only after it has
been linked to it. Therefore, be sure to follow the procedure described below.
Important:
When switching on, there must be no other 2.4 GHz transmitter in the immediate vicinity.
First switch on the transmitter using the on/off switch (see
Figure 1, no. 9).
Insert the helicopter battery (1) into the model from behind.
The connection contacts (2) and the two small locking lugs
(3) must face upwards.
Slide the helicopter battery into the battery compartment
(4)asfarasitwillgo.Inthegurebelow,thehelicopter
cabin cover has been lifted off the two holding rods for the
sake of clarity.
With the helicopter battery inserted in the model, the heli-
copterLED(5) goesonbriey andgoesoutagain and
thenstartstoicker.
Then place the helicopter on a level surface from which
it can take off.
Now move the joystick for the pitch and tail function (see
Figure 1, no. 9) all the way up, then all the way down and
back to the middle position. The model is thus digitally
linked to the remote control transmitter and can then re-
spond to its control commands.
If the linking process has been completed correctly, the
helicopter LED and the transmitter housing LED will glow
steadily.
The model is now ready for take-off.
Important:
The internal stabilisation electronics (gyro) are also adjusted during the linking process. Therefore, the
model should not be moved or turned during this time.
You can easily check if the model has been correctly linked to the transmitter before operation. To do this, move the
joystick for bob and roll functions (see Figure 1, no. 4). The swash plate below the rotor head must then always move
inthesamedirectionasthejoystickisdeected.
Totakethemodeloutofoperation,rstpullthehelicopterbatterybackwardsoutofthebatterycompartmentandthen
switch off the transmitter.
Caution, important!
Readthefollowinginformationcarefullybeforeyingthehelicopter.
