EMAIL CONFIGURATION
SMTP is used by the MACH-Pro(Web)Com controller when sending alarm emails. Clicking
the Email Configuration button opens the Email Configuration dialog box.

Secondary
DNS Server
An IP Address of a valid Domain Name Service server accessible to the
MACH-Pro(Web)Com controller that will be used in the event that the
primary DNS server is inaccessible.

Field Description
SMTP Server The name of an SMTP server accessible to the MACH-
Pro(Web)Comcontroller. The server must have a fully qualified
domain name or accessible IP address. Choosing Gmail, Yahoo!,
or Hotmail/Live/Outlook.com from the SMTP Server dropdown list
will automatically populate the fully qualified domain name of the
SMTP server.
Security Type The type of encryption used while accessing the SMTP server.
The options include None, SSL, and TLS.
Port Number The port number on the email server used for SMTP traffic.
Normally, port 25 is used for non-secured email and 587 is used
for secured.
