EXTERIOR LIGHTING AND SIGNALS (continued)
Moving cornering lights
Depending on the vehicle, when
turning corners, with the dipped
beam headlights on and under certain
driving conditions (speed, steering
wheel angle, forward gear selected,
etc.), additional headlights 1 are
switched on to light the inside of the
bend.
Note:
- When the dipped beam headlights
have been manually controlled, if
the light is sufficient, the cornering
lights 1 remain fixed.
- If the headlights come on
automatically when taking a bend,
the cornering lights 1 will come on
from the next bend taken.
- With the engine running and the
vehicle stationary, when the
dipped beam headlights come on,
the beams will make a movement
to reinitialise. If this does not
happen, there is a system fault.
Operating faults
If the message Check lighting is
displayed, accompanied by a
flashing warning light, this indicates
a system fault. To avoid any risk of
glare, the defective headlight is
lowered.
Consult your RENAULT Dealer as
soon as possible.
