– significantchangeinloadordistribu-
tion of load on one side of the vehicle;
– sportydrivingwithstrongaccelera-
tion;
– driving on snowy or slippery surface;
– driving with snow chains;
– fitting a single new tyre;
– useoftyresnotapprovedbythenet-
work.
The tyre pressure must be
checked before starting the
resetting procedure. The
system will not issue a warning if
the pressure does not correspond
to the recommended pressure.
Thesuddenlossofpres-
sure in a tyre (burst tyre,
etc.) cannot be immediately
detected by the system.
Procedure for resetting the
standard levels for the tyre
pressures
This should be performed:
– after each re-inflation or resetting of
tyre pressure;
– after changing a wheel;
– after changing wheels around.
Tyre pressures must correspond to the
current usage of the vehicle (empty,
carrying a load, motorway driving,
etc.).Respectthetyrepressures(in-
cluding the emergency spare wheel).
Check them at least once a month and
before every long journey (refer to the
labelontheedgeofthedriver’s
door🡺346).

Theresettingproceduremustbecar-
ried out while the vehicle is stationary
and the ignition is switched on. Please
refer to the multimedia instructions for
further information.
For your safety, the
warning light
requiresyoutostopim-
mediatelyassoonastrafficcondi-
tions allow.
Readjustment of tyre pressures
The pressure of the four tyres must
be set when cold(refertothelabello-
cated on the edge of the driver's door).
If tyre pressures cannot be checked
when the tyres are cold, the recom
mended pressures should be in
creased by 0.2 to 0.3 bar (3 PSI).
Never deflate a hot tyre.
After each reinflation or readjustment
ofthetyrepressure,launchthereset-
tingofthetyrepressurereferenceval-
ue.
Replacing wheels/tyres
Only use equipment approved by the
brand network, otherwise there is risk
of the system being activated late or
not working correctly 🡺344.
Aftereachchangeofwheel/tyre,read-
just the tyre pressure and launch the
reset of the tyre pressure reference
value.
