370 - Practical advice
The following advice will enable you to carry out quick, temporary repairs. For safety reasons you should always con
tact an approved Dealer as soon as possible.
Using the card POSSIBLE CAUSES ACTION REQUIRED
The card does not lock or
unlock the doors.
Card battery is flat. Replace the battery. You will still be able to lock/unlock,
and start your vehicle 🡺62 and/or 🡺160.
Use of appliances operating on the
same frequency as the card (mobile
phone, etc.).
Stop using the devices or use the built-in key 🡺62.
Vehiclelocatedinahighelectromag-
netic radiation zone.
Vehicle battery flat.
Use the key that is built into the card 🡺62.
The vehicle is started. Whiletheengineison,itisnotpossibletolock/unlockus-
ing the card. Turn off the ignition.
The "Place card in zone +
START" message appears
on the instrument panel.
Desynchronisation of the card Unlock the driver's door by inserting the card's built-in key
into the door lock 🡺62,thenplacethecardontheplace-
ment area 🡺160andpresstheSTARTbuttontosynchro-
nise the card.
The starter is activated POSSIBLE CAUSES ACTION REQUIRED
The instrument panel indicator lights are
weak or fail to light up and the starter does
not turn.
Battery terminals not tight, battery
terminals disconnected or oxidised.
Retighten, reconnect or clean them if they
are oxidised.
Dischargedbatteryornotopera-
tional.
Connectanotherbatterytothefaultybat-
tery 🡺339orreplacethebatteryifneces-
sary.
Donotpushthevehicleifthesteeringcol-
umn is locked.
Faulty circuit. Consult an approved dealer.
