Operation
The function warns you if a vehicle is
in area B andisapproachingyourve-
hicle.
Whenavehicleisdetected,thewarn-
ing lights 2 lightuponbothdoormir-
rors 3 .
Note: clean the door mirrors regularly
3 so that the warning lights 2 can be
seen.
The warning lights 4 on the multimedia
screen indicate the side on which the
approachingvehiclehasbeendetect-
ed.
Note: clean the camera regularly so
that it is not obscured.
Warning lights 2 and 4 areaccompa-
niedbyanaudiblewarningwhenre-
versegearisengagedandyourvehi-
cle is moving.
If the vehicle is fitted with a towbar
recognised by the system and a trailer
has been connected, the parking exit
warning is automatically deactivated.
The"Drivingassistunavailable"mes-
sage is displayed on the instrument
panel to warn you.
Operating faults
If the vehicle is fitted with a towbar
recognised by the system and a trailer
has been connected, the parking exit
warning is automatically deactivated
andthefollowingmessageisdis-
playedontheinstrumentpanel:"Dri-
ving aids unavailable".
When the system detects a fault, the
"Checksideradars"messageisdis-
playedontheinstrumentpanel.Con-
sult an approved dealer.
Duetothepresenceofsen-
sors behind the bumper, it
is advisable to entrust any
operation on the bumper (repair,
replacement, paintwork, etc.) to a
qualified professional.
