66 - Getting to know your vehicle
Luggage compartment
To open
Press the button 1 and open the door.
To close
Lower the luggage compartment door
using the interior handles 2 .
Never use the struts to
close the luggage com
partment door.
Opening manually from inside the
vehicle
If it is impossible to unlock the luggage
compartment, it can be done manually
from inside:
– access the luggage compartment by
folding down the rear bench
seatback(s);
– insert a pencil or similar object into
the recess 3 and slide the unit as
shown in the illustration;
– push the boot lid to open it.
Theattachingofanycar-
rying device (bike rack,
luggage box etc.) resting
ontheluggagecompart-
ment lid is prohibited. To install a
carrying device on your vehicle,
contact an approved dealer.
Automatic tailgate
Conditions of use
– Immobilise the vehicle.
– If there is any ice or snow preventing
the tailgate from opening, this ice or
snowmustberemovedtofreethetail-
gate.
– Intheeventthatthebatteryisdis-
charged or if it is replaced, the tailgate
shouldbeclosed(manuallyifneces-
sary) to restart the tailgate motor.
Opening/Closing
Theopeningorclosingofthemo-
torised tailgate is indicated by three
sound signals.
