HOW TO REMOVE COMPONENTS
3.8 CONDENSATE TRAP 3.9 OUTLET THERMISTOR
1. Remove control board and display.
NOTE: To remove the control board and dis-
play, refer to section “3.14 Control Board” and
section “3.13 Display.”
2. Remove four pipes across the front of condensate
trap.
3. Remove water valve and water inlet pipe.
4. Tilt the condensate trap to the right and remove it.
NOTE: Before removing outlet thermistor, turn
off water to the water heater by closing the
shut off valve and drain the water heater.
1. Remove control board and display.
NOTE: To remove the control board and dis-
play, refer to section “3.14 control board” and
section “3.13 Display".
2. Remove black Molex connector from thermistor
wiring harness, and remove a screw holding outlet
thermistor.
