14. DRC (Dynamic Range Compression)
This function reduces the difference between the loudest and
quietest audio being broadcast. Effectively, this makes quiet sounds
comparatively louder and loud sounds comparatively quieter. Options:
off(default) / high / low
In DAB menu, press ‘- Station +’ button to select ‘DRC’ and press the
‘Select’ button once to conrm. Then press ‘- Station +’ button again to
select a particular setting and press the ‘Select’ button once to conrm
the setting.
NOTE: DRC only works if it is enabled by the broadcaster for a specic
station.
DRC is not broadcast or enabled in Australia.
15. Prune
This removes all invalid stations indicated in the station list with a ‘?’ in
front of the station name.
In DAB menu, press ‘- Station +’ button to select ‘Prune’ and press the
‘Select’ button once to conrm. Then press ‘- Station +’ button again to
select <Yes>, and press the ‘Select’ button once to conrm.
16. System
In DAB menu, press ‘- Station +’ button to select ‘System’ and press the
‘Select’ button once to conrm.
The System menu options are:
Time
Backlight
Language
Factory Reset
SW version
17. Time
In the time menu, you can set the time, time format and source for the
time update.
NOTE: When in a DAB Broadcast area the Time and Date is broadcast
by the DAB radio stations and the Sunrise Clock Radio will update
automatically.
