Why is my RIDGID Power-Spin Tools cable kinking or breaking?

To prevent cable kinking or breaking in your RIDGID Tools, avoid forcing the cable; let the auger do the work. Ensure you're using the correct pipe diameter (not over 11/2" or 40 mm). Use reverse only to retract the cable or if it gets caught. If the cable is worn or damaged, replace it. Support the cable properly and clean cable and bearings with hot, soapy water. Also, ensure the AUTOFEED is fully engaged by squeezing the trigger harder. Avoid exposing the cable to acid.
