Why does my RIDGID WTS2000L Saw motor stop running?
    • H
      hannahriveraJul 31, 2025
The motor of your RIDGID Saw might stop running due to several reasons: there is no power to the electrical outlet, low voltage, plugs aren’t fully connected to the power source, switch isn’t “ON,” the carbon brushes have worn out completely, GFCI is tripped, or overload protector tripped. To resolve this, ensure the outlet has power and the power source voltage is 120V. Verify plugs are securely connected and the switch is in the “ON” position. Replace the carbon brushes if they are worn out. If the GFCI is tripped, press the ON/OFF switch down to turn the saw off and then reset the button on the GFCI. If the overload protector tripped, press the overload-protector switch to restart the saw.

What to do if my RIDGID Saw overload protector keeps tripping?
    • M
      Mallory MartinezAug 7, 2025
If the overload protector of your RIDGID Saw is tripping frequently, it could be due to rapid feeding of material into the cutting blade or low voltage with a heavy load. Try feeding the material more slowly into the cutting blade. When cutting extremely dense materials, make sure that the power supply voltage is exactly 120 V.

What to do if the water pump of my RIDGID WTS2000L cannot inject water?
    • L
      lolsonAug 15, 2025
If the water pump of your RIDGID Saw cannot inject water, several issues could be the cause. The water-pump plug might not be firmly connected to the saw receptacle, there might not be enough water in the water tray, the water hose could be loose or off, the water valve might be in the “OFF” position, the water hose or water nozzle could be jammed, the water pump filter might be too dirty, or the water pump itself could be damaged. To address this, connect the water-pump plug to the saw receptacle, ensure the water-pump intake is fully immersed in water, reconnect the water hose to the pump, turn the valve to the “ON” position, clean or replace the water hose or water nozzle if jammed, clean the water-pump filter, or replace the water pump if it is damaged.

Why is the LED Lights/Laser Beam projection hard to see on my RIDGID Saw?
    • J
      joneskimberlyAug 23, 2025
If the LED Lights/Laser Beam projection on your RIDGID Saw is hard to see, it could be because the light in the work area is too bright, or there is dust or water on the laser-aperture cover or on the surface of the LED lights. Move the machine to a work area where the light isn’t as bright. Wipe the dust or water off with a clean, soft cloth.
