Remote Control Via LAN
1. Connect the device
Connect the RF signal generator to your LAN.
2. Configure the LAN parameters
Set the LAN parameters of the RF signal generator according to the description
in "I/O Configuration

LAN".
3. Search for the device resource
Start-up Ultra Sigma and click
; then, click in the pop-up
window and the software starts seaching for the RF signal generator resource
connected to the LAN. The name of the instrument resource found will be
displayed in the resource box at the right of the window. Click
to
add the resource.
Note: The resource selected should keep consistency with the IP address of the
LAN interface of the RF signal generator. In addition, if you want to remove the
unwanted resource, click the corresponding resource name and click
.
4. View the device resource
The resource found will appear under the "RIGOL Online Resource" directory.
For example, DSG830 (TCPIP::172.16.3.194::INSTR).
5. Communication test
Right click the resource name "DSG830 (TCPIP::172.16.3.194::INSTR)" and
select "SCPI Panel Control" to open the remote command control panel through
which you can send commands and read data.
6. Load LXI webpage
The RF signal generator conforms to LXI Core 2011 Device standards. You can
load LXI webpage conveniently through Ultra Sigma by right-clicking the
