ප Purgethewaterlineofalldebrisandairby
closingthehotisolaƟonvalveandopeningthe
coldisolaƟonvalveanditsdrain.Debriswill
damagethewaterheater.Useabucketorhose
ifnecessary.
ප Ensurethathotandcoldwaterlinesarenot
crossedtotheunitandareleakfree.
ප Cleantheinletwaterfilterbyclosing thecoldand
hotwaterinletisolaƟon(shutͲoī)valves.Puta
bucketunderthefilterattheboƩomofthewater
heatertocatchanywaterthatiscontainedinside
theunit.Unscrewthewaterfilter.Rinsethe
filtertoremoveanydebris.Installthefilterand
opentheisolaƟonvalves.
ප Ensurethatapressurereliefvalveisinstalledwith
araƟngthatexceedstheBTUinputofthewater
heatermodel.RefertotheraƟngplateonthe
sideofthewaterheaterforBTUinput.
ප Amanualgascontrolvalvehasbeenplacedinthe
