recirculaƟonpump.Twomodesareavailable,
EconomyandComfort,whichrecirculatethewaterin
theplumbingsystemtoprovidehotwatermore
quicklywhenatapisopened.
RecirculaƟonmodeisforresidenƟalinstallaƟonsonly.
RecirculaƟon
modecannotbeusedwiththeBathFill
controller(BCͲ100V),anairhandler,orwithmulƟple
Rinnaiwaterheaters.
ThemaximumRinnaitemperatureseƫngwhilein
recirculaƟonmodeis140°F(60°C).

Amperage: lessthan2amps
NOTE: TheRinnaiPCboardwillbedamagedif
amperageexceeds2Amps.

InstallaƟon
1. Turnoītheelectricalpowersupplybyunplugging
thepowercordorbyturningoītheelectricityat
thecircuitbreaker.
2. InstalltherecirculaƟonpumponthereturnline
accordingtothepumpmanufacturerinstallaƟon
instrucƟons.Installacheckvalveinthereturn
lineasshown
inthePlumbingDiagramifoneis
notintegratedintothepump.
3. Thewireharnessfortherecirc ula Ɵonpumpis
bundledwiththewirehar nessfromthePCboard.
Theconnectorhasablackandwhitewirewiththe
label“Cutwiretoconnecttopump”.Toconnect
to
thepump,cuttheconnector,splicethewires,
andadd4Ampfusetothehotwire(black)ofthe
pump.Connectthegroundwirefromthepump
toascrewatthebaseofthewatercabinet.

FollowElectricalCodeand
pumpmanufacturers 
recommendaƟons.
4. Adjustthedipswitchbymovingthe4thswitchin
thewhiesetofswitches(SW2)toON.
ForEconomymode,setthe8thswitchinthe
whitesetofswitches(SW2)toOFF(default).
ForComfortmode,setthe8thswitchinthewhite

setofswitches(SW2)toON.
5. Connect powertothewaterheater.Pressthe
PowerbuƩononthecontroller.Thepumpand
waterheaterwillturnontoraisetherecirculaƟon
looptemperature.

