7.5 Commissioning
Before you can move the columns synchronously, you must perform an initialisation run. During
the initialisation run, the number of connected drives will be recorded and the lifting columns
synchronised to a single height.
7.5.1 When must you perform an initialisation run?
An initialisation run must always be performed if
a controller is in operation for the first time or
the number of drives connected to the controller has changed or
the controller has been reset to the factory settings or
the controller prompts a run by means of E000 or
if there is a fault (see section 7.15).
An initialisation run on the drives must take place before installing the drives. With
mechanical connection of the drives, the initialisation run must be conducted with
the greatest care. With a mechanical connection and an asynchronous run, there is
a risk of breakage.
