7.3 Connecting drives and hand switches
7.3.1 Connecting drives
You can connect up to two (with the RKMultiControl duo) or up to four (with the RKMul-
tiControl quadro) drives per controller.
• Plug the lead for the first drive into socket 1 (see section 7.2.2 or 7.2.3).
• Connect the remaining drives to the controller (second drive in socket 2, third drive in
socket 3, etc.).
If only one drive is connected to the controller, this must always be plugged into socket 1. Other-
wise the controller will not recognise the drive.
Only drives of the same design should be connected to all controllers.
