QC (quality control) Lockout
The QC Lockout ensures that the optional quality control tests are run on a regular basis. This is
independent of the operator, however. This option should be used if you work without oper-
ator lists. It is also possible to mandate Operator Lockouts and QC Lockouts in parallel. In addi-
tion to defining time intervals, QC Lockout can also be used to specify that a quality control test
must be carried out when a new test strip lot is used (New Code).
1 From the Main Menu, touch Setup to
open the meter settings.
2 From the Setup Menu, touch QC Settings.
3 From the QC Settings menu, touch
QC Lockout.
