Operator Lockout
Optional liquid quality controls can be used to ensure that an operator is performing tests prop-
erly on the CoaguChek XS Plus meter.
The Operator Lockout function constrains an operator, who has been set up in the list, to perform
these quality controls on a regular basis.
1 From the Main Menu, touch Setup to
open the meter settings.
2 From the Setup Menu, touch QC Settings.
3 From the QC Settings menu, touch
Operator Lockout.
If this button is disabled (grayed out),
either no operators have been set up or
the Operator ID option has been deacti-
vated.
The option of setting up an Operator Lock-
out is available only when operator lists are
created on the DMS. For more details see
Data handling, starting on page 115. If you
are not working with a DMS, only the
QC Lockout is available (see QC (quality
control) Lockout on page 72).
