Loading the Stage
Place component 3 on top of component 1 of the plate holder.
Ensure that the numbers on the front of the plate holder components are readable and not dis-
played on the head.
Place the LightCycler
®
480 Multiwell Plate 96 on top of component 3 in the plate holder.
Place the plate holder in position 3 of the purification rack.
Ensure that position A1 of the LightCycler
®
480 Multiwell Plate 96 is positioned in the top left cor-
ner.
Insert the purification rack back into the stage.
Insert the rack carefully so as not to spill the PCR master mix onto the stage.
Press the purification rack into the stage until its outline is displayed in blue on the Stage sub-tab.
On the Stage sub-tab of the MagNA Pure 96 Software, click next to the Rack Position 3 field in the
Purification Rack Overrides group. The Edit Barcode dialog box opens.
