The Material Server consists of a group of components that work together to
service various applications. The primary applications that the Material
Server services are the Material Editor, FactoryTalk Batch Server, FactoryTalk
Batch Recipe Editor, FactoryTalk Batch Equipment Editor, and the Storage
Container ActiveX control. Any third-party application can also use custom
solutions based on the exposed Material Object Model (MOM).
