3. Security
3.1. General information
In your own interest, read the following safety and warning instructions completely before you start using the
sedimentation tank. Please keep these instructions in a safe place. The illustrations shown in these instructions
illustrate the functions and may differ in some ways from the actual product.
3.2. Product safety & conformity
The product is subject to Directive 2001/95/EC on general product safety without special labelling.
3.3. General safety information
Risk of personal injury and property damage!
⇒ The water in the sedimentation tank is not drinking water.
⇒ Do not leave children and animals unsupervised near the sedimentation tank. There
is a risk of drowning. Use the optionally available cover (Item 8) for the sedimentation
tank.
⇒ Avoid a gushing flow into the sedimentation tank (e.g., the sudden draining of a full
20 L sink). The filled sedimentation tank is not designed to hold such amounts of
water. This could cause the sedimentation tank to overflow.
⇒ Overflowing water can cause significant damage at the operating location.
Do not use the sedimentation tank until the inlet and outlet connections have been fully
connected and checked for leaks.
