5.6.3. Fitting the inlet connection
General safety information:
Do not use the sedimentation tank until the inlet and outlet connections have been fully
connected and checked for leaks.
The inlet connection from the sink to the sedimentation tank must be vertical and straight. If
the inlet connection is installed in a curved manner (similar to a trap), there is a risk of dirt
accumulating in the inlet system, clogging it and causing leaks.
If the optionally available cover (Item 8) is used, it must be placed on the sedimentation tank
before the inlet connection is fitted.
Description:
Step Description Remark
Connect the flexible inlet tube (Item 5) to the
sink.
⇒ As a rule, there is a 1 ½'' thread on the sink.
⇒ If necessary, use the 1 ½" to 1 ¼" reducer
(Item 6) and the appropriate sealing ring
(Item 7).
Hand tighten the fitting on the sink.
Roll the sedimentation tank under the sink.
Push the flexible inlet tube with the end piece
into the attachment provided in the large
compartment of the sedimentation tank.
The length of the supply line can be variably
adjusted by pulling it apart or pushing it together.
