Chapter 5 Applying Various Effects to the Sound
Reverb Effect
Reverb is an effect that adds a sense of spaciousness to the sound, creating
the illusion of playing in a large or small concert hall, a large or small room,
a small club, etc.

Press the Reverb [
] or [
] buttons to adjust the overall
Reverb amount.
When you press the up button [
], additional Reverb is applied. Pressing
the down button [
] decreases the Reverb level. If none of the Reverb
indicators are lit, the Reverb effect will not be heard.
When you press the Reverb [
] [
] buttons, the Part Balance Monitor
screen appears. In the Part Balance Monitor screen you can check the reverb
depth.

The Part Balance Monitor
screen is displayed for
several seconds and then
closes automatically.
If you touch <Hold>, the
screen continues to be
displayed until you touch
<Exit> again.
You can change the type of
reverb, the reverb depth for
each part, and the wall
type. For details refer to
“Changing the Reverb
Type” (p. 132), “Changing
the Depth of the Reverb”
(p. 134), and “Changing
the Wall Type” (p. 133).
