2. Start the operation panel screen.
Open the operation panel screen.
From the operation panel screen, you can make the settings for cutter movement and the start location for cutting.

If You're Using Windows XP
From the [Start] menu, click [Control Panel].
Click [Printers and Other Hardware], then click [Printers and Faxes].
If You're Using Windows 98/Me/2000
From the [Start] menu, click [Settings], then [Printers].

Right-click the [Roland MDX-40] printer icon.
If You're Using Windows XP/2000
Click [Printing Preferences].
If You're Using Windows 98/Me
Click [Properties].

Click the [Option] tab.
Click the [OPERATION PANEL] button.
The operation panel screen open.
Switching Off the Power
Switch off the main power switch.
The POWER light goes dark and the power to the machine is switched off.
