DB-25 Connector Guard (S-4000H Only)
Install the slide-on connector guard on the S-4000H front panel to provide protection for the DB-25
input and output connectors. When installed, the connector guard will support DB-25 connectors
that are plugged in the front panel, and prevent them from being bent due to accidental stress or the
weight of the connector’s cable.
1. Turn off the power on all equipment and disconnect all cables from the S-4000H unit.
2. Slide the DB-25 connector guard over the S-4000H front-panel lugs as shown.
3. To hold the connector guard in place, use the supplied screws as shown.
Make sure that the connector guard is installed as shown in the above illustrations. If its
orientation is reversed, it won’t remain attached.
