Switch on the power and make the initial settings.
Hold down and press the sub power switch.

Use to select the language you want.

Use to select the unit of measurement you
want (for length).

Use to select the unit of measurement you
want (for temperature).

Clean the print heads with the SOL INK cleaning cartridges.
Make sure the selected ink mode is enabled.
If an incorrect ink mode is enabled, switch off the sub
power.
Again carry out the procedure on page 40, "Selecting the Ink
Mode."
If the selected ink mode is enabled, press .

Make sure the drain bottle is installed.
Press .
w
Insert cleaning cartridges into slots 2, 3, 8, and 9.
