DANGER
Risk of accident due to improperly assembled or incompatible components and accessories!
Incorrectly fitted or incompatible components or accessories can come loose during the ride, break or cause damage
to the frame!
The assembly must be carried out in accordance with these instructions or the component manufacturer's
information.
The components must be selected taking into account the mounting points, the intended use and the maximum
system weight.
ROSE is not responsible for damage resulting from or in connection with improper handling or lack of
compatibility with other products.
DANGER
Risk of accident due to sudden failure of pre-damaged components!
A fall or unplanned riding manoeuvres can cause unnoticed damages to your frame or components. Pre-damaged
components could deform or break while riding.
Check all the components of your bike regularly and after a fall or accident for damages and malfunctioning.
Components that are subject to high stress must be regularly checked by a qualified bicycle mechanic and
replaced if necessary.
Damaged components must be replaced immediately.
DANGER
Risk of accident due to improper handling!
If the bike or components are handled improperly, parts of the bike can suddenly fail.
All maintenance intervals and activities must be observed and adhered to – including those of the installed
components.
The max. system weight of the bike and its components must not be exceeded (see “1.8 Weight limit” on page 5).
The bicycle and its components may only be used for their intended purpose.
The regulations of the component manufacturers must be observed in addition to the regulations listed here.
2.1 The rider’s duty of care
Following the instructions specified in this manual does not absolve the riders from their duty of care to ensure that their
bike is always in good condition. If there are any questions, consult a qualified bicycle mechanic or the ROSE service team.
