Why is my Sainlogic WS0310 not reporting data from the remote sensor?

  Dashes appearing on the display console usually indicate a loss of sensor communication. This can happen if the signal is lost. To fix this, press and hold the CHANNEL/+ button for 3 seconds, choose the lost sensor and the remote search icon will be constantly displayed. Once the signal is reacquired, the remote search icon will turn off, and the current values will be displayed. The maximum line of sight communication range is 100m(330ft) and 30m(100ft) under most conditions. Also, consider these possible solutions: * Move the sensor assembly closer to the display console, but not less than 1.5m/5ft. * Install a fresh set of batteries in the remote sensor. Use lithium batteries for cold weather. * Ensure the remote sensors aren't transmitting through solid metal or earth barriers.
