1.4 Warnings on the device
Warning symbols Meaning of the warning Location on the device
Warning to indicate that the springs in the actua-
tor are preloaded.
Actuators with preloaded springs are under ten-
sion. Incorrect opening of the actuator can lead to
personal injury due to the sudden and uncon-
trolled projection of parts.
Before starting any work on the actuator, relieve
the compression from the preloaded springs. See
'Relieving the spring compression in the actuator'
in the 'Removal' section.
